I create many projects that are more identifiably visual art. Although writing is usually a part of them, too.
This work has taken more of my time and attention in recent years, resulting in projects with art galleries as well as becoming Director of arts and social history Community Interest Company Rendezvous Projects.
My work often takes a moment or period of modern history as a jumping-off point or an inspiration. But it also involves collaborating with others, be they artistic partners or communities. As with all of my work, these projects centre around people and how their location or circumstances impact upon or shape their lives.
