This project took place in 2012, just before the London Olympics. Stratford was already rapidly changing and I was commissioned to capture the faces of the area as it changed. My subjects included café-owners, market traders, pub landladies and Theatre Royal Stratford archivist Murray Melvin.
The work included portraits and text interviews about how Stratford was changing and what the future may look like.
